Arai Tour-X4 Helmet – Diamond White

One of their most versatile helmets yet, Arai’s Tour-X 4 is ready for adventure, grand touring or off-road (and without the peak looks pretty decent on a naked bike too). You can wear this helmet pretty much any way that suits you, whether that’s visorless with goggles, or with a visor and the peak off – it really is up to you. The Tour-X 4 has a touring-motocross hybrid shape with contouring to cleverly incorporate its front and rear ventilation systems into the design. In the front you get an under-peak air intake to collect and distribute air, a closable chin vent to control the airflow to the chin area, and an inner chin vent shutter to prevent debris coming into the helmet in dusty riding conditions. You also get brow ventilation and lower side vents. In the rear you have a neck roll exhaust and side exhausts as well as easy to clean removable diffusers that create a strong vacuum at the rear. These features ensure you have 360 cooling with lower noise levels than most touring helmets.
The meticulously tested shell is design for strength, structural integrity and impact flexibility, passing ECE 22-05 safety standards. Made from Special Fibre Laminate, the hard outer shell uses fibre layers which are densely packed right to the surface and bonded with special resins to disperse shocks over the widest possible area. The expanded polystyrene inner shell is made using a unique technology of combining three to five densities in various areas as a single component, absorbing any remaining impact energy.
Inside, you can be sure of Arai’s famous fit. The Facial Contouring System offers enhanced comfort to the lower jaw and works with a foam spring support in the cheek pads that compress and rebound, providing support without excessive pressure. These 5mm cheek pads (as well as the temple crown pads) can be removed and replaced with different thicknesses so you can really craft a perfect fit for your head shape. Complete with Arai’s Dry-Cool® lining, the interior is washable and designed to be moisture wicking, quick drying and cool to the touch, giving you all day comfort.
