Bell Star DLX Mips Helmet – Matte Black

The Star Deluxe is part of the pro star family, offering that signature Bell performance at an attractive price point. Driven by the needs of the modern rider, the Star has evolved into one of the most comfortable and safe lids around.

The Star passes ECE safety standards without breaking a sweat, even exceeding these standards to achieve a Snell rating. This achievement comes down the TriMatrix composite shell which uses a combination of Carbon, Kevlar and Fibreglass. The shells are size-specific too so you can have even more confidence the helmet is designed to fit from the ground up.

This model has vents aplenty for optimal airflow with adjustable openings above and below the visor with a further vent at the crown. These exit via exhausts at the rear that follows the lines of the spoiler nicely.

Many of us swear by our Bluetooth intercom systems when it comes to connecting with fellow riders, navigation or music. The Star has comfortable built-in recesses within the EPS meaning the speakers will sit flush and won’t cause you a headache. Literally.

The Star DLX adopts Bell’s Panovision visor which is engineered to be wider and taller to give you a larger field of vision. A central locking mechanism also means it is easy to operate the visor with either hand and, thanks to Bell’s spring-loaded ClickRelease system, swapping it out is a doddle too.

This helmet is also equipped with Bell’s signature MIPS technology. This multi-directional impact system slip-plane technology within the helmet reduces rotational forces present in specific impacts, crucially minimising energy transfer onto vulnerable areas of the head.
